The Board of Selectmen is seeking bids for snowplowing of approximately 1,000 feet of town owned dirt road with two turnarounds located on Denison Hill Rd. The term of the contract shall be for a period of two season from November 1, 2024 to May 1, 2026. An insurance certificate, naming the Town as an Additional insured, in the amount of $1,000,000 must be presented within fifteen days of a bid being accepted and the certificate must be maintained at all times while services are provided for the Town. The Town of Voluntown, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town, is not obligated to accept the low dollar bid price. The Town of Voluntown reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Respondent submittal shall include an original, and one (1) exact copy (in addition to the original) and shall be delivered to the First Selectman office, 115 Main Street, Voluntown, CT 06384 Submittals received after this date and time will not be accepted.
