This project involves roundabout construction at Independence Avenue and Town Centre Blvd to better manage intersection operations and route thru-traffic along Town Centre Blvd rather than along Independence Ave, to and from Colbern Road. A traffic signal has been installed at Colbern and Town Centre intersection along with turn lanes and a raised median on Colbern with earlier phases of the project. Project is included City Of Lee Summit Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of July 30,2024, construction estimated for 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
