Major objectives for the proposed project include:Renovate the existing meeting room area; includes expanding meeting area capacity and flexibility; Revise the entry sequence; Thorough renovation and redesign of the Children's area; Increase the amount of collaborative space (including adding small study rooms and collaborative workrooms); Create a dedicated Teen area; Add a conference room and a quiet reading/study area; Relocate the circulation area; Relocate the public restrooms, adding a single person restroom for patrons; Increase the number of patron computers throughout the building, and include some adult computers in the children's area so parents or guardians can have a spot to work and to be near their children; laptop bars and similar areas convenient for patrons working with their personal devices are desirable features; Create a digital lab that can be used by adults and teens; Consider the inclusion of a drive-through service area.
