Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Design plans call civil work for a road / highway.

Construction of a four-lane divided highway between Kempsville Road and the Chesapeake City Line. The scope of services will include, but not be limited to, roadway alignment and design elements, traffic data and analysis, traffic signalization, signs and signal plans, aesthetic design elements, environmental permitting, surveying, storm water management, public utility and other utility coordination, street lighting, geo-technical borings and analysis, public involvement, landscaping, development of construction contract documents, acquisition services and construction phase services. Project is included City of Virginia Beach FY 2023 - 2028 CIP, As of November 21, 2022, this project is halfway through the design process. This will bid for general contractors at a later date. A firm construction timeline has not been established, but it assumed that it will start after Phase 2, which is slated to begin in April 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
