Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 187,330-square-foot, 3,400-seat stadium; and 600-space parking garage.
Construction of a new varsity arena, community ice rink and high performance athletic research training centre. The facility will be located on the South Campus, adjacent to the existing Saville Community Sports Centre, and will feature two NHL size ice sheets; a 3,000 seat varsity arena and a 400 seat community ice pad). Project also includes construction of a new 600-stall parkade with the capacity for future expansion. TIMELINE: Design is preliminary. Schedules for detailed design, tender and construction are unknown. Further update may be available in 2026, pending owner's decision to proceed. NOTE: Project is estimated to cost $65,000,000. $25 million of the project cost has been secured through donors. The City of Edmonton has made a $25-million commitment to the project. **No phone calls/inquiries will be accepted by the owner or the architect.
