Site work for a water / sewer project in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work is located within the City of Newport News along Jefferson Avenue, from Sam Walton Way to Parkview Drive and from Arch Street to 50th Street. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. Failure to submit a Bid through HRSD's Online Oracle ERP system prior to the due date and time will be cause for rejection by HRSD. Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required.
