Selective and thorough demolition of the old McAllen Police Department, Interior renovation of the existing to remain building facility, electrical and mechanical systems upgrades, with minor site development of the existing facility located at 1501 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. 78501 Work includes the construction of a single level parking garage to behind the McAllen Public Safety Building. Payment and Performance Bonds shall be executed except in the event that the total amount bid is $50,000 or less, the successful contractor has the option to enter into a single payment contract with the City of McAllen in lieu of a Performance Bond. In the event that the total amount bid is $25,000 or less, the successful contractor has the option to enter into a single payment contract with the City of McAllen in lieu of a Payment and Performance Bond.
