The convent Glen North 1430m storm sewer collector rehabilitation from the north side of Highway 174 to the outlet at the Ottawa River. The City of Ottawa plans to rehabilitate the Convent Glen North Collector Storm Sewer that is located between the Ottawa River and the OR 174. The existing large storm sewer is comprised of Structural Plate Corrugated Steel (SPCSP) elliptical pipes which range from 3.5m to 4.8 metres in size. The total length of the existing sewer is approximately 1.44 kilometres. Through the design process, the City will investigate various rehabilitation options including trenchless sewer lining and open excavation replacement methods. TIMELINE: Plans nearing completion. Construction expected in 2026. This project’s design is funded in part through the federal-provincial Clean Water and Wastewater Fund (CWWF).
