This Request for Tender is issued pursuant to a Stage 2 RFT Process under the Vendor of Record Arrangement to obtain RFT Bids from VOR Contractors as defined in Section 1.1 - Definitions of the Request for Supplier Qualification: General Contractors - Category B: Mid-Size or Category C: Major Interior Renovations RFSQ No.: 2021-40421-RFSQ issued by the University on October 22, 2021 ("RFSQ"). The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following scope of Work: - Replacement of the existing pool water pump 'P-1' with two (2) new 100% redundant circulation pumps 'RP-01 and RP-02' to increase the swimming pools flow to 4-hour changeover rate as required by the OBC. - Replacement of the Filter housings with an increased filter housing density to satisfy higher water exchange rates. - Removal of the existing suction/return piping water piping from the swimming pool within the basement mechanical room and its replacement with new larger The provision of additional side-wall skimmers, return inlets and main drains while re-using the existing skimmers, return inlets and main drain to satisfy the increased flow rate through the pool. - The re-use and tie-in of the existing Ultraviolet treatment, Vacuum, Chemical Treatment and Pool Water Heating systems. - Replacement of the corroded ductwork, emergency fixtures, and plumbing fixtures in the filtration room, including the provision of tempered water. - Replacement of the existing pool water make-up system complete with backflow - The relocation of piping and equipment in the level 00 mechanical space to facilitate the installation of the new equipment, larger piping, and sidewall skimmers/return inlet installations. - Removal of the existing abandoned bubbler system including the bubbler tank, air compressor and all associated piping and accessories. - Provision of fire dampers to maintain the 2-hour fire rating in the level 0 filtration - CCTV scope and flushing of the existing sanitary main located in the level 00 mechanical space. - The provision of new pool water metering and automatic water level control. - And any other work required to complete this Project.
