The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The proposed work for the Van Buren and 52nd Street Relief Sewer Project includes the installation of approximately 5,000 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer line and 500 LF of 8-inch sewer, abandonment of approximately 3,250 LF of 8-inch sewer and 250 LF of 10-inch sewer, installation of approximately 1,070 LF of 36-inch storm drain main, 25 sewer manholes and 8 storm drain manholes. The project area includes Polk Street from the Loop 202 to 53rd Street, 53rd Street from Polk Street to Van Buren Street, and Van Buren Street from 53rd Street to approximately 850 feet past Galvin Parkway to the Phoenix Zoo sewer connection. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible responsive bidder or all bids will be rejected, as soon as practicable after the date of opening bids.
