This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the City) to prospective Respondents to qualify for future eligibility to provide General Contracting Services for the Construction of Lower Garrison Creek Park. Lower Garrison Creek Park (LGCP) will be a new municipal park located at 170 Queens Wharf Road in the CityPlace neighbourhood of Toronto. The site is situated within the Fort York Heritage District, bounded by the Metrolinx Rail Corridor to the north, Fort York to the west, Fort York Library to the south, and condominium developments to the east. Bathurst Street Bridge spans over the western sector of the work site, and LGPC connects to Northern Linear Park in the northeast. The site is approximately 0.92 hectares (2.25 acres) in size. This RFSQ is an invitation to qualify three (3) experienced General Contractors, and up to a maximum of five (5) General Contractors for the provision of contracting services for the construction of Lower Garrison Creek Park, demonstrating exemplary experience in the construction of complex park landscapes which emphasize superior project construction administration skills and high quality workmanship. Respondents must also demonstrate a commitment to delivering completed projects in an efficient manner and schedule.
