Site work and paving for a civil project in La Quinta, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Proposed work includes resurfacing and restriping three major raodways including the construction of five roundabouts at existing signal / stop -controlled intersections. This complete streets project will convert the existing roadway cross section from four lanes to two with the addition of a bike / neighbourhood electric vehicle (NEV) lanes , and on-street parking. At the proposed rounabouts, work will involve construction of 8'-10' wide concrete shared use pathways, curb and gutter reconstruction, utility relocations(water and irrigation), storm drainage improvements, construction of rain garden and bio filtration systems, landscaping, decorative hardscaping (Concrete), signal modification and removal.
