As of October 2019, this project is confirmed to be under construction. Substantial completion by January of 2021. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The department of Health plans to improve its primary adult behavioral health dfacility, Hawaii State Hospital (HSH), on the windward side of Oahu to address the growing population of patient admissions fromm across the State while maintaining safe and secure operating of the campus. The patient facility is already at full capacity and in urgent need of a new patient care facility with additional beds and proper treatement services. The first phase is proposed at the former Goddard building site at the back of the campus, whioch had been abandoned for more than two decades. Demolition of the Goddard Building was recently completed under a seperate project. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
