The work generally consists of removal and replacement of three (3) chillers, chilled water and condenser water pumps, chilled water and condenser water treatment systems, insulation of mechanical systems, plumbing and related accessories. Work also includes new electronic controls, selective demolition, concrete, metal doors/frames, ventilation, electrical and structural steel work. The estimated construction cost is between $3.0 million and $4 million *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders shall comply with all access requirements of the facility or the User Agency. Each Bidder shall bring their own flashlight and small tools that may be required to inspect the premises. Bidders and interested parties are required to sign-in at the meetings to confirm attendance. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply. Campaign Contributions by State and County Contractors Prohibited. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body, at any time between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract.
