Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a detention facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; for the addition of a six-story above grade detention facility; for site work for a detention facility; for the demolition of a detention facility; and for the construction of a detention facility.
As of February 2, 2024, a general contractor was awarded and all sub-bidding is complete. Construction is anticipated to start February 12, 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Dane County is inviting Proposals for professional construction management services for the addition of four floors to the Public Safety Building & consolidating three of the Sheriffs existing facilities into one. These services shall include planning, organizing, leading and controlling the progress of the project and coordinating the County's needs and approvals between the architect / engineer and general contractor during design and construction. Only firms with capabilities, experience & expertise with similar projects should obtain this Request for Proposals document & submit Proposals Please call Scott Carlson, Project Manager, at 608/266-4179, or our office at 608/266-4018, for any questions or additional information.
