Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the addition of a transportation facility.

**As of January 28, 2020 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Work of this project provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment and plant, and the performing of all Work in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The project consists of one (1) contract. The BASE BID work shall include, but not be limited to: - Construct new 5,000,000-gallon storage lagoon - 15,000 square foot Snow melt pad - Construct new Southwest Stormwater Pumping Station - Upgrade existing Southeast Glycol Pumping Station - Upgrade existing Southwest Glycol Pumping Station - Provide all piping and valving required - Provide all power and control wiring - Provide all instrument and controls, including software - Provide and upgrade SCADA system, including software The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com, or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. Details for electronic submission are provided on the NFTA's Engineering Branch website. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The Contractor shall perform not less than 35% of the work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 485 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Participation goals are as follows: New York State certified Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE) is 6%. New York State certified Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) is 9%. New York State certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) is 4%.
