The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) will receive bids on a general contract for the Church Street Station Rehabilitation. The scope of work includes: Rehabilitation and Renovation of Existing Outbound and Inbound Light Rail Stations. Replacement of steel structure and roof canopy, reconfiguration of station amenities and resurfacing of ramp and paving. Installation of new railings, benches, wall cladding and station wind protection. Church Street Station, Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203 The time of completion for the project is 340 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. $3,300,000.00 Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com, or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The time of completion for the project is 340 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,125 per calendar day will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified.
