Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The work generally consists of construction of a two-storey addition aligned with the primary entranceways to the ice and curling rinks along the north elevation of the facility, to house a new elevator to provide access to the facility's second level. In addition, the project scope includes Interior renovations; Modifications to existing space in order to provide fire rated access/egress routes on the second level; Reconfiguration of, and modifications to, the existing washroom facilities; and Addition of automated systems for access doors through the facility as a means of eliminating barriers or impediments for persons with mobility challenges.
