Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Surrey, British Columbia. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
The new 3km linear park will extend along the south side of the Nicomekl river from Elgin Rd to 40th Ave and connect to the larger green network. Nicomekl Riverfront Park Hadden Mill and Oxbow zones (Phase1). TIMELINE: Detailed design is ongoing. Environmental impact assessment has been completed. Construction is anticipated to commence in late 2026. Further update in fall 2026.
