The City of Surrey intends to invite quotations from experienced and qualified pre-fabrication building contractors for all skilled labour, tools, materials, and equipment for the fabrication, furnishing, and installation of up to two (2) Surrey Park Washroom Units (SPWU) in 2023, with a possibility of extending the program involving an additional eight (8) units for a total of ten (10) units, delivered two per year (on average), in 2024-2028. Examples of the subject SPWU exist at Maple Green Park and Chimney Heights Park in Surrey. PROJECT SCOPE – The attached SPWO drawings and specifications will serve as the basis for a subsequent RFQ. Project sites to be determined on an annual basis. The Contractor will be responsible for the turnkey fabrication, delivery, site assembly, installation of fixtures and equipment associated with the SPWO. Site preparation and servicing works will be site specific and will be completed by the City of Surrey. The site work will typically include the foundation, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing site service to the utility box under the unit, and any associated landscaping.
