Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vernon, British Columbia. Design plans call for site work for a museum; for the construction of a 31,000-square-foot, three-story above grade clubhouse / community center; museum; and clubhouse / community center.

Construction of a new Vernon Cultural Centre (GVCC) facility. The new Greater Vernon Cultural Centre will co-locate together Greater Vernon Museum and Archives(GVMA), Vernon Public Art Gallery(VPAG), and a community performance space, wokrshop spaces and shared classrooms, creating a new cultural destination for both the visitors and the residents. Vernon Block was selected as the preferred site. The specific 25 portion selected as the potential site for the Cultural Centre is located on south-east corner of the site, at the intersection of 31st Avenue and 29th Street. GVCC Museum, Art Gallery, presentation hall, and outdoor plaza Three Story facility. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing Tender and construction timelines are to be determined. Construction could commence in September 2025, pending approvals. Further update in early 2025.
