Acceptability of the evidence related to the two projects is at the sole discretion of the Department. The improvements under this contract consist of, but are not limited to, roadway reconstruction, widening, Bridge No. 931015 replacement (removal, superstructure including traffic railing, substructure including drilled shaft), bulkhead, retaining wall, sheet piling, fencing, monitor existing structures (inspection, settlement, vibration), MOT (standard, special detour, barrier, separator, crash cushion, officer), protection (sediment, turbidity, inlet), asphalt (milling, base, superpave, friction, miscellaneous), earthwork (excavation, embankment), concrete (removal, gravity wall, culvert, endwall, shoulder barrier, median barrier, sidewalk, driveways, separator, ditch pavement, opaque barrier, prestressed pole, filling/plugging), steel (reinforcing), riprap (rubble), bedding stone, guardrail (removal, general, special post, transition, end treatment), pipe rail, drainage (inlets, manholes, junction box, pipe culvert, valley gutter, curb, curb and gutter, shoulder gutter), pavement markings (detectable, raised, painted, thermoplastic, permanent tape, bike lane), signing (single-post, multi-post, panel, object marker, panel, internally-illuminated), lighting (conduit, pull/splice box, junction box, power service, pole complete, cable distribution), signalization (conduit, signal cable, fiber optic, multiconductor, pull/splice box, power service, service wire, aluminum pole, steel mast arm, vehicular signal and loop detection, pedestrian signal and detection, controller, field ethernet, wireless communication), ITS (documentation, location, conduit, fiber optic, pull/splice box, power service, service wire, service disconnect, transformer, service pole, CCTV pole and camera, microwave detection, cabinet, field ethernet, server, UPS, remote management), utilities (adjustments, fire hydrant relocation), along SR 710 (Beeline Hwy.). C For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation.
