The Purpose and Intent of This Invitation to Bid is to Secure Firm Fixed Pricing and Establish a Term Contract for the Insert Furnish and Delivery of 18 Gallon Recycling Containers on an "as-needed" Basis. The Authority Will Pre-qualify Contractors Along With Their Price Proposals to Determine the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bidder. This is a Two-step Bidding Process. The Authority Will First Evaluate the Bidders Technical Response to Pre-qualify Responsive Bidders. Then the Authority Will Award to Lowest Bidder of Those Pre-qualified. The Initial Contract Prices Resultant From This Solicitation Shall Prevail for a Two (2) Year Period From the Contract's Initial Effective Date, With an Option to Renew for an Additional One (1) Year Period.
