Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Clemmons, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of construction of a tri-plex regional wastewater pump station, approximately 1,000 LF of 30-inch gravity sewer, approximately 1,200 LF of 20-inch force main along with related site work, access drive, electrical and controls, and ancillary items. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm by appointment, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Compliance with the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Special Conditions is required on this Contract. SRF requirements are included in the Bidding Documents. Compliance with the City/County Utility Commission's Minority and Women Business Enterprise program is required on this project. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or any portion of any bid they deem necessary for the best interest of the City, to accept any item or group of items unless qualified by the bidder, to acquire additional quantities at prices quoted on the Bid Form.
