As of June 21, 2022, a timeline for construction has not been established. No further inquiries to be accepted. Construction work, in general, consists of reconstruction of the bridge deck on Val Vista Drive and the Eastern Canal and the installation of a HAWK crossing; and other incidental work. The Engineer's estimate is $1,695,000.00 Each bid shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. Any bid which does not conform in all material respects to the Contract Documents will be considered non-responsive. Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form(s) included in the Contract Documents; shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the Town of Gilbert and shall be included in the bid as a guarantee that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract to perform the work in accordance with the Contract Documents Right to Reject Bids: GILBERT reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid or to withhold the award for any reason GILBERT determines. The successful BIDDER, simultaneously with the execution of the CONTRACT, will be required to furnish a PAYMENT BOND in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the CONTRACT SUM and a PERFORMANCE BOND in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the CONTRACT SUM. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
