The Work includes the following major items: The work generally includes upgrade of the existing Broadneck Secondary Clarifiers #1, #2, and #3, including but not limited to: demolition of existing and installation of new sludge removal mechanisms, bridge, and scum removal system in secondary clarifiers 1, 2, and 3; structural rehab of clarifiers 1, 2, and 3; demolition of existing and installation of new scum pump and mixer in the remote scum box; demolition of existing and installation of new electrically actuated gates in the RAS distribution box and secondary clarifier distribution box; replacement of four existing RAS pumps and suction piping inside RAS building, associated electrical and controls work; temporary bypass pumping and all associated appurtenances and any other work necessary to complete the project at the Broadneck WRF.
