The Work includes the following major items: Removal of the existing travelling crane, girder and associated end truck, hoist, and trolley and delivering it to the County as described in the contract document, demolishing existing equipment pads, removable bollards, and floor hatch plates, installation of a new reverse curve monorail system extending outside the building with a 4 TON capacity electric hoist/trolley and a 2 TON capacity hand chain hoist and associated supports as shown on the contract drawings, providing a fixed ladder for access to the intermediate level platform through the existing floor opening as shown on the contract drawings and installation of new double leaf hatches as shown on the contract drawings and per the direction of the Owner.
