CIV18-0065 The Gilbert Road Improvement project is federally funded and consists of widening the roadway to include two through lanes in each direction from Gilbert Road to 148th Street. This project will complete the remaining unimproved roadway and includes turn lanes, bike lanes, raised medians, streetlights,4 traffic signals, fiber network, drainage, and utility improvements. Work must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Engineer's Estimate range is $ 4,000,000 - $ 5,000,000. This is a Federal Funded Project with DBE requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the City of Chandler, Arizona, or a certified or cashier's check. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Chandler. All Bids will remain open for 90 days after the Bid opening day, but the CITY may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the bid security prior to that date.
