The project will provide for the design and construction of one additional two-story wing. The project will provide additional student capacity with added classroom space, and the elimination of mobile units. This school expansion will be a newly designed and constructed addition to the existing building. This project can provide for capabilities to address district-wide capacity needs. The preliminary target date for this project anticipates beginning in FY24 with completion in FY27. This project is currently in the FY 2025-2034 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY2024-2027. As of September 17, 2024, per owner an architect has been selected and identifed.
