Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of October 16, 2020, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** The work for this single-bid project includes demolition and removal of the following equipment: high-pressure boiler and its respective control panel, deaerator, dynamos, load banks, reduction gear & propeller set, table router, air compressor and receiver, base cabinets, sinks and counters. It also includes provision and installation of the following equipment: high-pressure water-tube boiler, low-pressure fire-tube boiler, deaerator, micro turbine, air handler, absorption chiller and pumps, air compressor, lube-oil purifier, test sink and eye wash station, water softener, cooling tower, load bank. Scope also includes minor reconfiguration of partitions, a new classroom space and new finishes, lighting, fire alarm system, HVAC work and millwork. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Peggy McSorley or for MWBE related issues, Joanne Lovelady (518) 320-1711. Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York EEO goals for this project: 10% minority workforce and 5% female workforce Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Contract term: 250 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed
