As of February 26, 2020 the project has awarded to Pyramid Contractors amount of $10,782,385.35. Anticipated Start Date: March 23, 2020. This project includes construction of roadway and bridge improvements to Lone Elm Road, from 151st Street to Old 56 Highway, and to Old 56 Highway, from Robinson Street to Weaver Street. Project NO : STP-N066 (601) The improvements to Lone Elm Road include: roadway and bridge widening from 2-lanes to 4-lanes, full depth pavement reconstruction and milling and overlay, commercial driveways, retaining walls, construction of center roadway medians and landscape irrigation system, underdrains, new storm sewer system, new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps, a new RFB stormwater culvert, new street lighting, pavement marking and signing, and dedicated left and right turn lanes at specific locations. Improvements to Old 56 Highway include: full depth pavement/lane widening near the intersection, 3" milling and overlay, retaining wall, construction of center roadway median, underdrains, storm sewer, new side street curb and sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, new street lighting and (3) traffic signals, fiber optic interconnect, pavement marking and signing, and intersection left and right turn lanes MBE : 12.7% WBE : 6.9%
