Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 95,800-square-foot, four-story above grade fire / police facility; two-story above grade parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; fire / police facility; and three-story above grade fitness / recreation center.

The project will be generally comprised of a new Public Safety Facility, Auxiliary Building, and parking garage for the City of Manassas, Virginia. The project is located in Manassas, Virginia, at 9608 Grant Avenue. The property is bounded on the east side by Grant Avenue and the Citco Service Station, on the south side by the Grant Avenue Shopping Center, on west side by the Georgetown South residential neighborhood, and on the north by a residential neighborhood. The work includes the complete construction of a new four-story Public Safety Facility building with a mechanical penthouse; a new three-story Auxiliary Building for evidence processing, the motorcycle unit, a fitness area, and storage with one connecting bridge; a new two-story parking garage with one level partially below grade; a new service yard; an impound lot, and perimeter security walls and fences and access control gates. The work also includes site development including hardscapes, landscaping, and surface parking, for the building site. The Public Safety Facility building will provide approximately 72,200 gross square feet, and the Auxiliary Building will provide approximately 23,600 gross square feet. The parking garage and surface parking will provide secure parking for approximately 151 vehicles, and public parking for approximately 37 vehicles. Packages must be requested at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Deadline for Submittals. Packages will be emailed to Contractors at their own risk. No packages will be emailed later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the deadline for submittals. The outside of the envelope shall be clearly marked "Prequalification to Bid: Timely delivery and receipt from the City of Manassas Purchasing Office of the prequalification application is the responsibility of the submitting contractors. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
