In general, work consists of the following Construction Contract: Replacement of electrical panels, two motor control centers, and various electrical appurtenances. Replacement of one variable frequency drive Replacement of HVAC equipment Replacement of a submersible pump and existing pump access hatch Installation of new process piping and truck fill station Installation of new security system Other miscellaneous improvements as defined in the contract documents The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Woodbury shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond, a Construction Payment Bond and a Warranty Bond, each for 100 percent of the Bid amount, as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Work. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
