The work includes the construction of approximately: 340 LF 18" - 24" Storm Sewer 6 EA Storm Sewer Structure 10 EA Structure Marker Sign 1,500 CY Pond Excavation and Grading 35 SY Remove and Replace Bituminous Trail 100 TN Bituminous Trail Overlay 2,200 SY Restoration (Seed/Erosion Control Blanket, Topsoil/Compost Mix) together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled "Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction", which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. Bidders are required to obtain a copy of this standard document once per year. A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the City of Woodbury, shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
