Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Hidalgo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidder's bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification. The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all Bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the Bid considered the best value to the City, and to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days without taking action. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/28/2022 12:00 AM The work consists of Approximately 7,900 sq ft of interior renovations of the existing administration building. The renovation consists of the following: new ceilings, new concrete buffed floors for ease of maintenance, 3 enlarged waiting rooms with adequate A/C and 10 new stations for processing with one of them dedicated to handicap accessibility.
