Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Sioux City, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project is the implementation of recommendations from the Riverside Park Master Plan. The Master Plan identifies five phases for improvements to the park. Phase I - involves Athletic Field Reconstruction - Done Phase II - involves parking lot improvements - Done Phase III - involves playgrounds, lighting and entryway - Done Phase V - involves 3-season shelter and promenade along the river - Abandoned Justification: Phase I of this CIP involved extensive improvements to the soccer fields. The Reconstruction Project for the soccer fields began June, 2015 and completed July, 2016. Cone Phase II of this CIP involves parking lot improvement to support the expansion of the Riverside Park Athletic Complex. With the anticipated increased number of park users at the soccer field, baseball field and Miracle Field - Done Complex, Phase II - Parking Lot improvements will accommodate the higher volume of vehicle traffic in this location.- Done Phase III of the CIP involves updates to the restroom, playgrounds, lighting and entryway. Phase IV of the CIP involves the construction of a 3-seasons shelter and promenade along the Big Sioux River Project is included City Of Sioux City FY 2018-2022 CIP. As of November 15, 2017, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2018.* As of June, 2023, City has completed all project except phase 4 which had been abandoned. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
