A general contractor has been selected for this project.A firm construction timeline has not been determined. Project Description: 1. Modernize 5 traction elevators and their associated machinery room and hoistways at the Folsom Office Building to conform to current code and safety standards. 2. Upgrade fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems serving elevator machinery room and hoistways m conform to current code and safety standards. 3. Provide a two-way communication system in the elevator lobbies, with remote monitoring. 4. Provide miscellaneous associated architectural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical improvements. 5. Provide alternate pricing, for Owner's consideration, to replace the existing 125kW diesel emergency generator with a new 300kW natural gad generator (Additive Alternate No. 1), and to remove the old generator (Additive Alternate No. 2).
