Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Construct a new Information Technology Building with Data Center for Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). Work may include the partial demolition and/or renovation of the existing IT Building and the construction of an addition to house the existing and future main computer systems for the airport, including a large data center. The systems control all important aspects of the computer networks, data storage, security, etc. to support continuous airport operations. The project will also include work space and infrastructure for existing and future staff. Due to the nature of the facility, there will be security requirements (to be determined) during construction. The project will satisfy all current codes and building requirements for ADA, TAS, etc. and will be minimum LEED Silver accredited.
