The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the construction of approximately 4,555 lineal feet of 78-inch sewer, three (3) 144-inch diameter drop manhole structures, seven (7) 78-inch tees with 42-inch risers, one diversion structure with associated 153 feet of 30-inch PVC sanitary sewers and five (5) 60-inch diameter manholes, the removal and replacement of approximately 3,255 feet of utilities, the removal and replacement of 13 catch basins, the removal and replacement of sixteen (16) 48-inch sanitary manholes, temporary bulkheading, the removal and replacement of the roadway along the majority of the project's alignment, additional surface restoration, SWPP installation, and maintenance of traffic. This project is being funded with a WPCLF loan. Federal requirements apply. Questions related to the project will be accepted until 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC and the Instructions to Bidders. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids received, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates which is deemed most favorable to the City of Elyria, Ohio at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents Bidding documents are sold as complete sets; no partial or incomplete sets can be purchased.
