The work under this Contract shall be performed entirely within the City of Burbank, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, and performing all work necessary for the renovation and construction of the McCambridge War Memorial, located at McCambridge Park (corner of N. San Fernando Boulevard and Amherst Drive). Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and replacement of the existing pavement; refurbishment of bronze plaques; new lighting; plantings; benches; irrigation; landscaping; construction of five new memorials with the names of fallen veterans engraved on them reflecting their sacrifice in World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and recent conflicts. Project duration 90 consecutive calendra days. The quantities on the Bidder's Proposal are estimated only and it is understood that the unit price(s) Bid in this Proposal will be paid for the actual quantity required to complete the work, and the Contract price increased or decreased accordingly. Increases or decreases in conformance with Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction-2012 Edition, Section 3-2.1. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any item or items of the bid, and to waive any informalities or technical defects as the interests of the City may require.
