Renovation of a parking garage in Rochester, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This project will result in the upgrading of existing surface areas and related support facilities as well as required structural upgrades to existing airport parking facilities. Installation of another vertical circulation ramp is projected. The parking garage and related facilities construction (for the terminal) began in 1989. Parking garages require periodic major maintenance projects to maintain the integrity of the structure and extend the useful life at a minimal cost. Surface parking lots need periodic maintenance to maintain their condition. As February 22, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2028 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024.
