Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a 160,000-square-foot educational facility; and 400-space parking garage.
CSI Division(s): 08-OPENINGS New construction of an approx. 160,000 sf research building that will serve as the flag ship for future research campus for the University of Oregon. The primary objectives of the building are to rethink research, science education, and innovation. The project also features a pedestrian sky bridge, 400 stall parking garage, site work, and central utility connections. The new building is planned to accommodate groups of students, graduate interns, research scientists, and computationalists. A groundbreaking ceremony was held March 2, 2018 and demolition has begun. Construction is underway. Construction is expected to be complete in March 2020, with a Spring 2020 opening date. Total project cost - 225,000,000
