As of December 29, 2021, the project is complete. Gem Theatre HVAC Replacement work includes the replacement of the existing roof-top mechanical unit, electrical service improvements and general contracting work. Gem Theatre will be operational during the construction period. Careful coordination of work is necessary to minimize disruption to the business operations of the theater. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Kannapolis, NC (“the City”) plans to contract with an architecture firm to provide professional architectural design services for planning, stabilization, and ADA compliance for the Gem Theatre located at 111 W. 1st St in Kannapolis (“the Property”).
