Demolition for a mixed-use development in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 160,000-square-foot, four-story above grade educational facility.
Hoffman Construction Company has been selected as the Construction Manager/General Contractor for University of Oregon Knight Campus for the Acceleration of Scientific Impact (KCASI) ("Project") being performed for The University of Oregon (UO) Campus Design & Construction ("Owner"), and requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #2 - Demolition. This bid package includes the following: Bid Item #1 - Demolition. Attendees must bring/wear their own OSHA-compliant Hard Hat and Safety Glasses, Reflective Vest, long pants, and boots in order to attend the job walk following the pre-bid meeting. All bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting in order to acquaint themselves with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed and to correlate personal observations with the requirements of the contract documents. A groundbreaking ceremony was held March 2, 2018 and demolition has begun. Construction is underway. Construction is expected to be complete in March 2020, with a Spring 2020 opening date.
