Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Val-David, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 41,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 16-room, 385-seat educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Construction of an elementary school in Val-David. The new school will house 16 classrooms including pre-school education classrooms for four- and five-year-old children and elementary education classrooms. The building will also house a library, a gymnasium, washrooms, locker rooms, administrative offices and technical rooms. The project also includes the construction of an open air parking and landscaping work. Note. Due to funding constraints the scope of work was reduced: instead of 24-classroom facility the building will house only 16 rooms. However, the project will allow to construct in the future an addition to house eight remaining rooms. TIMELINE: The design of the project restarted after a long hold period. The owner has obtained a government authorization to continue the development of the project on a reduced scale. According to the preliminary scheduling tender for the general contractor will be issued in summer/fall 2026. Note. The plans of the previous project version were 90% complete.
