Briefly, and without force and effect upon contract documents, work of Contract can be summarized as follows: New construction includes exterior wall assembly, air barrier system, roofing systems, doors, frames, hardware, storefront, curtain wall, glazing, interior and exterior finishes, signage, toilet compartments and accessories, metal shelving, and window shades. The work also includes fire suppression, plumbing and fixtures, HVAC and controls, electrical and fixtures, telephone/data raceway, security components and cabling, audio visual components and cabling, site clearing, earth moving, paving, fences and gates, site walls, grasses, plants, and water, sanitary and storm utilities. Construction will be in compliance with the North Carolina Building Code 2012 Edition. The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. Wake Technical Community College encourages participation by MWBE firms and supports efforts to ensure and promote opportunities for minority businesses. The bidder shall include with the bid proposal the form Identification of Minority Business Participation identifying the minority business participation it will use on the project and shall include either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable.
