Renovation of an educational facility in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

All inquiries for information regarding this Invitation for Bid should be directed to the Buyer listed in this IFB or 757-591-4525. 1. Replace exhaust fans as identified on the drawings. 2. Replace cabinet unit heaters as identified on the drawings. 3. Provide new Kitchen Hood and Makeup air system. 4. Replace Packaged Rooftop Units and duct heating coils serving the gymnasium. 5. Provide new Packaged Rooftop Unit to condition the Kitchen. 6. Replace the building automation system with HONEYWELL controls to be provided by a Honeywell Authorized Controls Integrator. This includes the NIAGRA/JACE web server platform. 7. Provide Commissioning for all new mechanical units and controls. 8. All required electrical work to support the mechanical scope. Contractor shall visit the site and explore the existing conditions prior to bidding. Contractor shall be aware of potential damage to building, sidewalks, roadways, and landscaping in determining the method for removal and installation of equipment. Contractor shall take special care in protecting trees that may interfere with the removal and installation of equipment.
