1.The Contractor will supply all labor, tools, materials, equipment and services necessary to remove existing asphalt shingles and install new 50 year "Malarkey Legacy" Architectural- shingle roofing system on various buildings as specified in bidding documents. a. The work includes tear off of existing roofing materials down to the existing sheathing, replacement of damaged sheathing if required. b. Install new "Ice and Water Shield, new valley flashings, new style "D" drip edge, metal soffit and fascia, and ventilated ridge cap on designated buildings. c. Remove Fiberglass cover and replace with wood sheeting and shingles over entry at 102 Center street. 2. The Contractor will supply all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to install new Thermoplastic Membrane Roofing System as specified in the bidding documents. Work includes demolition and removal of existing membrane roof; as well as flat section of existing tin roofing material. (Bidding Contractors please note there is only approximately 50 Sq. Ft of Thermoplastic Membrane roofing included in this project). 3. The Owner has conducted an Asbestos Test Survey to determine if there is an Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM's) present in those areas identified in the Scope of Work. a. The lab results state "there is none present". 4. The Contractor will install new Malarkey 50 year warranty asphalt shingles in accordance with the Manufacturer's recommendations in order to be warrantied to withstand 100+ MPH winds. Must be submitted through the Public Purchase online bidding system. It is the contractors/proposer's responsibility to check Public Purchase for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. No telephone calls, emails, or faxes will be accepted. Note: All responses must be uploaded completely through the Public Purchase online bidding system no later than the 2:00 p.m. due date indicated in the document. If your submission has not completely uploaded by the 2:00 p.m. deadline, the Public Purchase system will lock and your response will be incomplete and deemed non-responsive and eliminated from the evaluation process.
