Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Sequim, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,000-square-foot library; for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a 6,000-square-foot library; and for site work for a library.
As of 11/16/23, the Library Board of Trustees approve the contract with Acila Consulting for owner’s representation services on Sequim Library Expansion and Renovation Project. Plans call for the construction of an approximately 3,000 square feet addition to the existing 6,000-square-foot building, providing more space for study and for computers, as well as energy-efficient systems, improved safety/emergency exits for the meeting room, an enlarged staffing area and more accessible bathrooms. As of October 3, 2023, construction documents are complete. The project is anticipated to be advertised for bids in November 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: In accordance with 39.80 RCW, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) announces the Request for Proposals Sequim Branch Library Expansion and Renovation Project - Architectural Services.
