Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
As of April 27, 2022, project was awarded to Shook Construction Company, awarded amount is $79,975,400.40. The last day for questions is February 28, 2022 by 4:00 PM (local). In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: Modification to existing facilities and construction of new facilities to expand the capacity of the Combined Sewer Overflow Treatment Facility to 411 mgd and incorporate chemically enhanced high rate treatment (CEHRT). Existing structures to be modified include: CSOTF Settling Tanks, CSOTF Pump Building, CSOTF Degritting Building, Disinfection Building, Chemical Handling Building, and Administration Building. New structures to be constructed include: Settling Tanks, High Rate Disinfection Tank, CEHRT Control Building, Excess Flow Conduit and Flow Control Chamber. Refer to the Contract Documents and Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work. The MBE/WBE/SBE goal for this Contract is 15% MBE/WBE and 5% SBE. The Engineer's Estimate for the WESTERLY CHEMICALLY ENHANCED HIGH RATE TREAMENT PROJECT is $84,400,000.00.
